Regarding play reports - copyright issues

Hi all,
I started disseminating the information about the website to my contacts in India. We did lot of dramas in IIT and we have a group called BTDS (Bengali Technology Drama Society) there. I have friends in IIM who also did quite a few drama there and I asked for few play reports. Here is a poignant point that was brought up...
They could not share the play report because for most of the cases the plays are from some prominent writer, group. They were staged 'unofficially' i.e. without express written permission from the author (because in IIT or even at IIM students don't have thousands of rupees to spend on the permission.. that's the kind of amount the authors ask for!). Consequently, many would not be willing to submit any report... the very fact that the drama was staged.. must be kept private (within the institute and so on).
Any thought on this? Do we need to change our play report submission rules also?

The responsibility for the copyright issue is with the person who is submitting the report. What we can ensure is that we won't put any audio content or scripts which are under copyright violation.
