Ours new Theatre Group THEATRE KULT at Kalyani has performed EKUSHER RODDUR based on Ekusher Bhasa Andolon, written and Directed by Samir Dasgupta. Cast: Chaitali Banerjee, Debashish Mitra, Kabita Mitra, Chandan Dasgupta, Paulomi Sengupta, Newton Biswas, Suryakanta Bhuian and Pritimoy Chakraborty.
Samir Dasgupta, D.Litt. Professor of Sociology, University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India is the playwright of CHILEKOTHAR SEPAI, KHOABNAMA, (Staged by Kalyani Natyacharcha Kendra) EKA EBONG EKA (Staged by Theatre Workshop), DHORAI CHARIT MANAS, MALUASUNDARIR PALA.
The forthcoming plays are: LALSALU ( Syed Waliullah) Play and Direction :Samir Dasgupta and BENCHE OTHO TRINA. Cast: Chaitali Banerjee; Written and Directed by Samir Dasgupta.
